JAMB Subject Combinations — Education

The Faculty of Education covers teacher training, educational theory and practice, educational administration, curriculum development, educational psychology and the broader scholarship of teaching and learning. Departments typically include Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Foundations, Educational Management, Educational Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, Adult and Continuing Education, Vocational and Technical Education, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Library and Information Science Education, and subject-area teacher education (Education and English, Education and Mathematics, Education and Sciences, Education and Social Sciences). The faculty produces the teachers who staff Nigeria's primary, secondary and tertiary education systems, and contributes substantially to educational research, policy and reform.
