Westland University, Iwo is a private university located in Iwo, Osun State, in south-western Nigeria. History

Westland University was established as a private university providing quality higher education in south-western Nigeria. The Iwo Osun location was selected for available land in the same town as the established Bowen University Iwo. Westland University operates from a campus in Iwo, in Iwo Local Government Area, central Osun State. The campus features academic infrastructure including faculty buildings, research laboratories, the university library, lecture theatres, student halls of residence and sports facilities. Iwo is connected by road to Osogbo (about 1 hour east), Ibadan (1.5 hours west) and Ile-Ife (1 hour south). Air access is via Ibadan Airport with regular flights to Lagos and Abuja.
