Edusoko University, Bida is a private university located in Bida, Niger State, in north-central Nigeria. The institution operates faculties spanning the natural and applied sciences, social and management sciences, humanities, education and computing. Edusoko serves Niger State and adjacent areas, complementing the federal Federal University of Technology Minna, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai, AbdulKadir Kure University Minna, Abdulsalam Abubakar University of Agriculture Mokwa, Niger State Polytechnic Zungeru, Federal Polytechnic Bida (located in the same town), Federal College of Education Kontagora and Niger State College of Education Minna.
History
Edusoko University was established as a private university providing quality higher education in north-central Nigeria. The Bida location, in Bida Local Government Area, southern Niger State, was selected for available land and historical significance as a Nupe cultural and commercial centre. The Bida location places the institution in the same town as the established Federal Polytechnic Bida (one of Nigeria\'s oldest federal polytechnics). The institution received NUC approval and admitted its inaugural cohort with founding faculties configured to address tertiary education demand. Through subsequent years the institution has continued to develop academic capacity and infrastructure.

Campus & Infrastructure
Edusoko University operates from a campus in Bida, in Bida Local Government Area, southern Niger State. The campus features academic infrastructure including faculty buildings, research laboratories, the university library, lecture theatres, student halls of residence and sports facilities. Bida is connected by road to Minna (about 1.5 hours north) and Mokwa (1 hour west), with onward connections to Abuja (3.5 hours east) and Ilorin (3 hours south). Air access is via Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja with daily international and domestic flights.
