📊 How FUOYE cutoffs work
The JAMB cutoff is the minimum UTME score required to be considered. The aggregate cutoff is the combined score (usually 50% JAMB + 50% Post-UTME or O'Level) used to rank candidates. Competitive courses fill up fast — being above the cutoff doesn't guarantee admission.

Frequently asked: FUOYE cutoff marks
Is the JAMB cutoff the only thing that matters?
No. FUOYE uses an aggregate score that combines JAMB UTME and either Post-UTME or O'Level results. Many candidates above the JAMB cutoff still miss out because their aggregate ranks below the admitted cohort.
Do these cutoffs change every year?
Yes — slightly. Cutoffs respond to the number of applicants, JAMB performance distribution and available slots. The figures above are for the 2025 cycle; expect ±5–10 marks variation in subsequent years.
