ActiveOpen to indigenes of Ebonyi State who are bona fide full-time students of accredited Nigerian tertiary institutions (universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and monotechnics). Applicants must show evidence of state of origin (LGA certificate of indigeneship), valid admission letter, current matriculation number, and a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 or higher. Final-year students and those receiving other government bursaries in the same academic session are typically excluded. Postgraduate, professional, and part-time students may be considered under separate categories where announced.
1. Watch out for the official announcement (typically once a year, in print and online). 2. Visit the Ebonyi State Ministry of Education / Bursary Board office or its website to download the application form. 3. Fill the form completely. 4. Attach: a copy of your admission letter; current school ID; LGA indigeneship certificate; previous semester's results; a passport photograph; and a bank account statement in your name. 5. Submit at the bursary office in the state capital or via the online portal where available. 6. Successful candidates are notified by SMS/email; payment is made via direct bank transfer.
